From 1990 through 2000 the GG-CJB was without a pause mentioned in positions 1 to 3 as the only Europe-based Jazz-Big Band ever

 

Around the change of Century many cultural Institutions started to suffer for lack of

financial support especially on Intercontinental Tour-Projects (largely altered

Sponsoring Concepts, more pure Sales Promotion). Without US Tours one withdraws

from being observed by US critics, group mainly committed to such polls. Therefore

year 2000 we stopped the list.
